Boston, USA - Artists Ponnapa Prakkamakul is a busy artist who had a lot of work with exhibitions on the horizon. Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - Artist Liza Merkalova worked on these pieces for over a year for the exhibition Apperceptions, which was to be held at Gallery M and feature 30 of her works.

Wuhan, CHINA - Li Wan is a visual artist in Wuhan who had an interactive art exhibit that had to close due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. A lot of us single folks are doing a lot of thinking about relationships and break-ups these days, so this work particularly stands out! From the artist’s submission: I am a public artist and sculptor from Wuhan , the specific outbreak center in China . We already suffered from the Coronavirus more than two months and experienced much horror from the epidemic ,and it’s still on . The lockdown in my city have been last more than 60 days , many exhibition have to be closed before the proposal time . My artworks were expected to shown in a gallery till March but unfortunately closed in early January .

Calgary, CANADA - This work is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. We don’t post much student work, but when we do… it’s exceptional. Simone Saunders is in her final year at the Alberta University of the Arts. Her tufted artwork is inspiring, political, colourful, and thought-provoking.

ITALY - From the artist: I made this installation and it is in Italy which because it became the European epicentre of the virus will not be seen by very many people at all. The space town region and then the country it is in went to lockdown. www.sebarrett.net

Stitchin in the Kitchen! These incredible works of art are made of felt, fabric, newspaper, old cigarette cards, and a Singer sewing machine!

AUSTRIA - Janine is a textile artist in Austria who submitted this incredible work. Stitched on a vintage Singer sewing machine. The image of the chimpanzee was to be presented as a gift in honour of Dr. Jane Goodall, presented at an anniversary event in Vienna (since cancelled), where Dr. Goodall was to make a speech.
