Long Distance Art
Long Distance Art is an international inter-disciplinary project created here at the Social Distancing Festival. After being match-made by creator Nick Green, artists around the world have collaborated to create work that speaks to our time, and is meant to be exhibited online. To date, these projects have included artists in Tallinn, Adelaide, Ojai, Toronto, New York City, Dar-es-Salaam, Zebbugg, London, Calgary, Cleveland, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, and Mexico City.
Whether it’s a painter with a musician, a textile artist with graphic designer, or a dancer with a composer, the works that have resulted from these collaborations are deeply moving, relevant, and inspiring. Please enjoy and share widely to support these artists through these uncertain times.
