These Toronto theatre artists are KILLING it.

These Toronto actors - Georgia Bennett, Kelsey Verzotti, and Joel Cumber - are keeping creative in the midst of a lot of disappointment and uncertainty in the arts community. KEEP SINGING you three WE ARE SO HERE FOR IT!

The song they were covering is Remind Me by Emily King.

My favourite part is when they’re like “…that was good” at the end. I would have been like WHAT MAGIC JUST CAME OUT OF MY MOUTH?! But yeah I’m a terrible singer.

When she’s not hosting the Stay At Home Ball, Avery Jean Brennan is keeping her vocal chops in shape by belting out Spring Cleaning from Fugitive Songs around the house! Not only are they a fantastic performer, she’s also a super talented musician, a writer, and an advocate. Can you tell that I like them?

Sending love to this beautiful city! Allison Wither is a Toronto performer, writer, and composer. Her show Every Silver Lining (with Laura Piccinin) made waves this year at the Next Stage Festival.

Thanks so much for sending this in Allison! Glad you’re keeping your beautiful voice in shape during this intense time!

Composer Dan Abrahamson and performer/choreographer Kayla James sing a song from "SuperSchool," - Music by Daniel Abrahamson, Lyrics by Daniel Abrahamson and Sarah Mucek.

These two have great chemistry. I think they like each other. Tell everyone.

Fatuma Adar is incredible. She’s a writer in Toronto, and her work is fire. She was kind enough to send us this little excerpt from her show Dixon Road, which was supposed to be showcased soon. It SUCKS that we wont get to see it then, but we are def going to be seeing a lot from her.

From Fatuma: Dixon Road is certainly not a one woman show, but enjoy watching me attempting to play several characters ~ if anything I hope this makes you crack a smile in these strange times. If you want to keep updated on this show in development follow me on Instagram & Twitter @fatumaadar.

Open hearts, clean hands.

Landon Doak is an incredible singer-songwriter, actor, and theatre maker who is keeping his skills in shape in spite of cancelled shows and workshops. Here he shares Dreams on Me from a new musical of his. I mean …swoon, right?

From Landon: t’s from the perspective of a young person dealing with the loss of their faith, and the depression that comes with that. They used to believe in a God or a higher power and would rely on that for their answers, purpose, and joy. They are asking themselves; “Without that faith, can I find joy and purpose on my own?”

This musical theatre superstar keeps on singing despite disappointing news! Arinea Hermans sings The Things That You Own - Music & Lyrics by Neil Bartram and Brian Hill.

From Arinea: Featuring my cat who hates when I sing. Please appreciate the fact that there's a scratching post right beside the couch that he has clearly decimated.

From Kevin: N REAL LIFE, my musical-in-development with book writer and co-lyricist Nick Green, has already gone through a trunk's worth of written-and-discarded songs! There's a moment near the end of Act 1 when our lead character has an important moment with someone dear to him. To date, five songs have been tried out in that slot. This was the third of those songs, called "The Water". If you saw the 2018 CMTP concert presentation of the piece at Sheridan, you'll recognize a version of this.I trimmed and modified some lyrics and made a dark pop standalone version of the song!
