Belgrade’s Ensemble Metamorphosis

Belgrade, SERBIA - Ensemble Metamorphosis, led by violist Sasa Mirkovic, performs contemporary music, as well as old music in new arrangements. The ensemble has given more than 120 premieres of contemporary pieces by Serbian composers and internationally renowned composers. In 2020, the ensemble was to celebrate its 15th anniversary. All concerts, guest appearances, festivals and tours are canceled due to COVID-19. Soloists in the ensemble have also had to cancel a number of performances at festivals around the world. They have released videos of their performances of Serbian Composer Dragana Jovanovic - Just Play (last movement from Little Suite) and Bach's Art of Fugue - IV Contrapunctus.
