Prashant Miranda and Don Soledad
Visual artist Prashant Miranda (Lund) and musician Don Soledad (Maitland) have created a moving and whimsical exploration of ‘finding home’ in this piece, which is presented by the Consulate General for Canada in Miami.

DON SOLEDAD
Inspired by the guitar of flamenco legend; Paco de Lucia, Don Soledad cultivated his sophisticated soulful sounds in Northern, California, beginning with his early guitar studies with the great Spanish flamenco maestros in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as in Jerez de la Frontera Spain. As a performer and recording artist, he has worked with talents in a variety of genres including Rock, Jazz and World Music. Upon his departure from the West Coast, Don has recorded 2 original albums “Camino de Seda” and “Soluna” and since has been a mainstay in the Florida and US professional talent pool performing with his band — The Don Soledad Group.
PRASHANT MIRANDA
Prashant Miranda grew up in Bangalore, studied at the National Institute of Design, India, and moved to Canada in1999. He designed children's animated shows for TV in Toronto before moving on to pursue his passions as an artist. He spends time in the coastal rainforests on the west coast of Canada now, where he travels and documents his life through his watercolour journals, animates films, teaches visual art, illustrates children's books and paints murals.
