Québec, CANADA - Get swept away in Artist, Andrée-Anne Guay’s vibrant, Ibiza inspired submission. With a gorgeous still photograph included for comparison, that mediterranean breeze almost feels within reach.

Brampton, ON, CANADA - Colour and texture rejoice in this ultra-fun submission from Visual Artist, Diana Rosa. Blending the human form with plant life in a way I haven’t yet seen, our plant neighbours are presented as valuable team members in the fight for global unity and sustainability.

Wuhan, CHINA - Li Wan is a visual artist in Wuhan who had an interactive art exhibit that had to close due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. A lot of us single folks are doing a lot of thinking about relationships and break-ups these days, so this work particularly stands out! From the artist’s submission: I am a public artist and sculptor from Wuhan , the specific outbreak center in China . We already suffered from the Coronavirus more than two months and experienced much horror from the epidemic ,and it’s still on . The lockdown in my city have been last more than 60 days , many exhibition have to be closed before the proposal time . My artworks were expected to shown in a gallery till March but unfortunately closed in early January .

Toronto, CANADA - Art directly dealing with our current reality is hard to face, I’m dreading the inevitable coming-of-age series titled something akin to “Quaranteens”, but this piece does so beautifully. Seeing artists dance ‘together’ in private spaces, set to stunning music and poignant narration, is sure to stir deeply.

Chicago, USA - As the days tick by, my need to see a live performer do their thing deepens. Satiate that desire by indulging in Wilhelm Duke’s original music and creative collaborations.

Chatham, NY USA - This submission made me stop to catch my breath. I felt oddly at home looking through these pieces, which I must attribute to the twist in perception that’s recently been forced on most of us. Stop, take a breather, and let your eye dance through some robust thematic ideas and details.

Mississauga, CANADA - These four pieces from Yi Wu Duan are moving and thought provoking. The artist seeks to express feelings that can't be described simply by words. In these times, I can deeply relate, and I think you will too.

Goma City, Democratic Republic of the Congo - This exquisite dance video submitted by dancer/choreographer Mboko Lopiki places us in the “boxing ring” that is the fight against global warming and nuclear power.

Budapest, HUNGARY - Art Exhibition, October 31st- November 21st, 2020

This is an online exhibition of art curated by Anne Murray that is a part of the Bangkok Biennial 2020. It includes a main exhibition with a curatorial text, and virtual artists studios. There are 35 artists who have been selected to participate in this online website as a part of the Cloud 9 Pavilion main exhibition and the virtual studios.

Toronto, CANADA - When life gives you lemons… sing about it in perfect harmony. Georgia Bennett, Joel Cumber, and Kelsey Verzotti are not only three extremely talented performers in Toronto, they’re also roommates. Faced with lost work and with fewer auditions on the horizon, these three created the Quarantrio, covering a variety of songs in stunning, perfect three-part harmony. And HOLY CRAP they are good. I honestly listen through their YouTube playlist almost on the daily.
