Reggie Dokes

Atlanta, Georgia, UNITED STATES - DJ, music producer and composer for television and film. Reggie Dokes is considered by DJ Mag to be one of several music producers from Detroit keeping the sound of Detroit ( deep house, techno) alive internationally. Over the years, Reggie Dokes has released singles, EPs and albums independently on various independent labels domestically and internationally, and his own imprint; Psychostasia Recordings and Detroit Westside Kid Records. He has recently transitioned into the world of composing for film and TV, in which he scored the highly anticipated documentary God Said Give Em Drum Machines. This documentary uncovers an in-depth untold story of the Detroit creators of techno and its direct influence on the multi billion dollar music genre of EDM ( Electronic Dance Music). Reggie has also landed music in the recent docuseries Cop Watch on BET and a film based on the best selling novel Monster by Walter Dean Myers. The film directed by Anthony Mandler, airs on Netflix in 2021. The movie stars Kelvin Harrison Jr., Jeffrey Wright and Jennifer Hudson.
