The Tap Rebels
Atlanta, GA, USA - Tap is a performance style that verges on 4-dimensional. When experienced live, the sound waves shake through your body with urgency, making it the perfect style to supplement this call to action from The Tap Rebels. I hope we all feel the global movement for racial justice deep in our bones, and that we continue to unapologetically carry it with us until the work is done. Black Lives Matter.
From the Director, Vanessa Zabari: This is our response to the current climate in America. We feel so strongly as a group about black lives in America, that we wanted to use dance as a way to express our frustrations and hope for a better future. There is still a lot of work to be done, please make sure you are supporting and protecting Black Women, Black Men, Black Children...we are dancing for YOU. Enjoy.
