The Pittsburgh Memorial Mendala
Terry Hardy’s installation had been slated to be opened on March 11, 2020, and then become part of the University of Pittsburgh’s permanent collection. The Mendala, which was made from flowers collected at graveyards across the South-Eastern US, honors the memory of the 11 victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue shootings and the people of Pittsburgh.
Terry’s work is emotional, meticulous, and political. See more at hardyspace.com
