Morning Walk at Plaza Blanca is from my cancelled art show, High Desert Road Trip which was scheduled for the month of April at the Galeria Arriba in Abiquiu, NM. This painting was inspired by an early morning walk in October. Cottonwoods were in full bloom. I was struck by the lone cottonwood adding a burst of color to the shining stones.
