Make it stand out.
Mark Wall
Separated Series No. 1 - 9
From the submission by the artist:
With molten wax and a fiery torch, I create abstract encaustic paintings inspired by the world around me; how I see it and how I experience it.
In this series of paintings, “separated”, I revisit a subject I artistically explored a couple of years ago. The work is my response to the current psyche of the American social landscape; the separation of minds and the separation of people.
The play of light and dark, scorched and torn, deconstructed and stitched to reconnect; these pieces are my creative response to a social dynamic that we all are experiencing every day.
Some, more than others.
