From the event page: An inspiring and thought provoking evening of music and the spoken word amid the sculptures and photography of the art exhibit Life in the Sacrifice Zone
On March 28th, Songs for the Land was scheduled to raise money to support the campaigns of three Indigenous groups of Canada’s West Coast: the Gidimt'en, Likhts'amisyu and Unist'ot'en. The fundraiser event was organized by the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment.
Cellist Jake Klinkenborg was to perform his GLOWING interpretation of the pieces Bach Suite No. 2 in D minor and Sept Papillons by Kaija Saariaho.
