SOCIAL MOVEMENT DANCE COMPANY
From creator Elijah Gibson:
Houston, USA - Color me bad is an entertaining and thought-provoking immersive dance experience, filled with high-impact, virtuosic, and intense movement. Choreographed and conceptualized by SMCD Founder and Artistic Director Elijah Gibson, Color Me Bad illustrates aspects of his personal relationships and experiences. Color Me Bad brings awareness to the discrimination and marginalization faced by people in the LGBT community. The show is set to the music of Benjamin Clementine, with original artwork by Cameron Frederick Sands.
The show was scheduled to take place March 27th and 28th at Sabine Street Studios, Art Gallery in Houston, Texas. There was supposed to be a show at 6:30pm and 8pm each day and the ticket price was $25. Due to the need of social distancing, it would have been impossible to do the show without participants there.
