Cologne, GERMANY - The premiere of Gustavo Gomes’ “Lorelei” was canceled due to Covid-19. A brazilian artist, dancer and choreographer based in Cologne, Germany, Gustavo has been working and performing pieces by choreographers and visual artists for many years. Based on a ballad of Clements Brentano, “Lorelei” depicts a siren who sits on top of a cliff above the Rhine, singing and luring shipmen with her beautiful golden hair and hypnotising songs, causing this men to crash their boats and die.
